“Until It Happens To You”
“Until It Happens To You” is the true story of a national security whistleblower, Julia Davis, who reported the improper processing of aliens from terrorist countries (Special Interest Countries) admitted into the U.S. on 4th of July, 2004. In retaliation for her disclosure that embarrassed the Department of Homeland Security, Julia Davis was subjected to acts of retaliation of unprecedented proportions. This book will reveal undeniable facts that the government desperately tried to suppress.Documents found in Osama Bin Laden’s lair confirmed that 4th of July was in fact the date of planned terrorist attacks against the United States by members of Al Qaeda. Penetration of the U.S./Mexico borders by terrorists remains a major threat.Instead of addressing the problem that was courageously reported by Julia Davis to the FBI’s Join Terrorism Task force (FBI/JTTF), the Department of Homeland Security made her the target of 54 investigations, land, aerial and vehicular surveillance, two malicious prosecutions and two false imprisonments. Julia Davis was vindicated, obtained a court ruling of factual innocence and prevailed in her litigation against the Department of Homeland Security. The book provides an honest perspective of a whistleblower, targeted for doing the right thing. It’s an inspirational account of standing before a Goliath, never backing down and prevailing, against all odds. This book tells an incredible true story you couldn’t imagine happening in the United States – UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO YOU.

“Britt” is a book, co-written by Brittany Murphy’s father, Angelo Bertolotti and a national security whistleblower Julia Davis.  It sheds the light on Brittany’s childhood, her meteoric rise to fame and tragic circumstances leading up to her death.  “Britt” illuminates Brittany Murphy’s participation as a witness in Julia Davis’ litigation against the Department of Homeland Security.  After she bravely provided a written statement in support of Julia, Brittany was targeted by the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Immigration Enforcement.  This included helicopter surveillance, wiretaps, an arrest in the middle of the night and an unsuccessful attempt to deport Brittany’s fiancée Simon Monjack, whom she later married.  Brittany and Simon became subjects of a DEA investigation, an agency that was previously headed by Robert Bonner.  As former Commissioner of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, Bonner was personally involved in the government’s attempts to suppress Julia Davis’ whistleblowing disclosure related to the breach of national security at the nation’s largest and busiest land border crossing.  The book exposes the government’s tactics that were used to terrorize Brittany and unfairly smear her reputation.

In her career, Brittany Murphy portrayed unusual characters and colorful lives. Her own life and death turned out to be much stranger than fiction. The book talks about Brittany’s romances, fears, betrayals and overwhelming forces that have irreparably shattered her promising life. “Britt” fills in the blanks, pulling down the covers from the unfinished canvas of Brittany Murphy’s life – interrupted, but never forgotten.
