Feature film, based on the true story of former Customs and Border Protection officer Julia Davis, who reported a breach of national security and was targeted in a case of unprecedented whistleblower retaliation by the Department of Homeland Security.
Federal law enforcement officer and Acting Supervisor Julia Davis with the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection discovers a national security breach related to the improper processing of 23 subjects from terrorist countries, allowed to enter the United States. She reports these events to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, exposing the DHS for failing to protect the borders during the “war on terror” on 4th of July, the date pinpointed by the Intelligence alerts as a Date To Watch of Special Importance. CBP Commissioner, former head of the DEA, Robert Bonner can’t afford any more media scrutiny, since his incompetence was already exposed in the NASA ‘Challenger’ space shuttle disaster.
Davis, who graduated with honors from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy, is suddenly labeled a Domestic Terrorist by Customs PR head Dean Boyd, simply for her doing her job too well and embarrassing the Department of Homeland Security in the process.
Overnight, Davis finds herself to be an “Enemy Of The State” for becoming a whistleblower.
Subjecting Davis to 54 investigations, her appointed antagonists Herbert P. Kaufer and Jeffrey J. Deal work closely with Bonner’s former employee’s US Attorney Debra Wong-Yang to head the prosecutions of Julia and her husband. Federal Judge A. Howard Matz presides over the contrived, selective and malicious prosecutions, in spite of his well-known friendship with CBP Commissioner Robert Bonner.
Court discovery reveals a complex spider-web of over 100 investigators, prosecutors and agents, who targeted the Davis in four different jurisdictions, leading all the way to the steps of the White House in Washington, DC.
Unprecedented retaliation escalates to two malicious prosecutions, two false imprisonments, land, aerial and vehicular warrantless surveillance and a commando-style raid of the Davis home with a Blackhawk helicopter and a Special Response Team. Four untimely witness deaths are also tied to the case. America’s frontline defense used more time, manpower and resources to raid the Davis house than the number of Navy Seals utilized to raid Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan.
Amidst many shocking revelations, this documentary provides a new insight into the deaths of well-known Hollywood figures unwittingly dragged into this scandal. The subject from terrorist affiliated countries are still at large with their whereabouts unknown. America remains at risk, while the government hunts whistleblowers, instead of terrorists. The truth is no longer a secret.
